Campañas de Deep Green Resistance
Para que el planeta sobreviva, debemos actuar en su defensa. Esta es la razón por la que Deep Green Resistance está organizando acciones para confrontar las estructuras de poder—el patriarcado, capitalismo y civilización—mayormente responsables del saqueo de la tierra y sus habitantes.
Como una organización expuesta, nuestra acción directa está estrictamente limitada a la desobediencia civil no violenta. Mantenemos una firme separación con miembros y cualquier grupo o individuos que participan en acciones clandestinas. Estamos en la Fase I de nuestras operaciones como organización de movimiento expuesto, lo que significa que estamos concentrados en establecer redes, movilización y reclutamiento. Antes de que nuestros objetivos puedan crecer y tomar objetivos más grandes, necesitamos una fundación sólida, una organización y comunidad que puede ser resiliente y adaptativa. De ahí, nos moveremos a la Fase II.
Acciones Prioritarias de DGR
Solidaridad Indígena
Apoyamos a las personas indígenas tradicionales que buscan preservar y expandir sus modos de vida tradicionales. Reconocemos que muchos de nosotros vivimos en tierras robadas.

Feminismo
La Junta Política de Mujeres guía la lucha contra la violencia masculina, su dominación y legitimación. Los hombres dentro de DGR trabajan para desmantelar la masculinidad, mejorar su comportamiento personal y luchar sistemáticamente contra el patriarcado.

Anti Racismo
El Consejo de Personas de Color libra la batalla contra la supremacía blanca, el racismo institucionalizado y la violencia racial. Las personas blancas dentro de DGR trabajan para apoyar estos esfuerzos, luchar contra el racismo interiorizado y desmantelar los sistemas de supremacía blanca.

Educación de Resistencia
Nosotros creemos en la necesidad estratégica de educación canalizada hacia la meta de transformar las condiciones materiales. El libro DGR, por ejemplo, es un intento de educación, pero en última instancia es un llamada directo a realizar confrontaciones con el poder. Promovemos resistencia estratégica a través de la divulgación, educación comunitaria, pláticas públicas, vídeos y cualquier otro método que pueda ser efectivo.
Restauración de la Tierra
La agricultura es el el proceso que sostiene a la civilización. Es la destrucción que debe ser reparada. Hectárea por hectárea, las comunidades vivientes de bosques, praderas y humedales deben de permitírseles regresar a casa. Debemos amarlas lo suficiente para extrañarlas y extrañarlas lo suficiente para restaurarlas. La mejor esperanza de nuestro planeta reside en su restauración. Las plantas perennes generan tierra, y el carbono es su componente fundamental. Esa reparación debe ser el objetivo principal del movimiento medioambiental. Como tal, los miembros de DGR y las divisiones trabajan para restaurar la tierra donde sea y cuando sea posible realizar estos esfuerzos.

Acción Directa
Participamos en campañas expuestas usando cualquier táctica no violenta que resulte ser la más efectiva en una situación dada (desde organización de la comunidad hasta la acción directa no violenta para el cambio legislativo y el apoyo de retirada colectiva). Entendemos, que dada la escacez de tiempo y los números que tenemos, el trabajo del movimiento expuesto no será suficiente para desmantelar la civilización, el capitalismo, la supremacía blanca, el patriarcado y otros sistemas opresivos de poder.
Promoviendo la Resistencia Clandestina
Debido a las razones ya descritas, concentramos nuestro trabajo aquí: en la necesidad de un movimiento militante clandestino que desmantele físicamente la infraestructura de estos sistemas y detenga los perpetradores de continuar con sus crímenes. Trabajamos para construir una cultura que normalice y promueva la resistencia militante.

DGR Austalia member tours the Philippines with the Mobile Anarchist School. She speaks at universities, infoshops, a farmer's forum and many other locations about the need for a serious resistance movement.
DGR Colorado member creates Stop Thinning Forests website, to inform landowners and counteract the misinformation propagated by the Forest Service and industry.

Two DGR members are arrested for their work against Natural Gas Fracking and genocide against indigenous communities. Fundraising efforts to support these people commence.
Members again travel to the Unis'tot'en camp to support the land-based anti-extraction resistance of the Wet'suwet'en people.

Members participate in the Left Forum in New York City, speak on radio shows in Florida and Oregon, and participate in anti-logging efforts in Slovenia.
New chapters continue to organize around the world. The organization, which is composed of more than 30 chapters, is now active in at least 10 countries.

DGR Middle Mississippia members help form Illinois South Resistance, to oppose fracking, coal mining, and other fossil fuel extraction.
DGR members and allies travel to northern California to respond to a call by the Winnemem Wintu tribe to protect a traditional coming-of-age ceremony for young women from disruptive, disrespectful, and potentially dangerous interruptions.

The organization based on the book and the workshop begins to organize, and rapidly expands to over a dozen chapters worldwide.

Dillon Thompson of DGR travels the west coast of the United States to promote the need for a militant underground movement.
DGR News Service established to promote aboveground and underground resistance and direct action.

The authors of the Deep Green Resistance book speak to Occupy Oakland, and along with other friends and allies including Arundhati Roy, Thomas Linzey, Stephanie McMillan, and Waziyatawin, participate in the conference Earth At Risk: Building a Resistance Movement to Save the Planet.
